On Jan. 15 2015, Korea Institute of Indsutrial Technology (KITECH) signed MOU with Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) of China. KITECH's President Youngsoo Lee and SJTU's President Zhang Zie signed on the MOU on behalf of each institute.
The MOU sets out the framework for future coopearation of two institutes on next-generation industrial technologies such as 3D printing and printed electronics.
SJTU, founded 1896, is one of the oldest universities in China. It is famous for its reputation as 'Eastern MIT' for nurturing top engineers and scientists of China.
