On July 31st 2015, President Youngsoo Lee of Korea Institute of Industrial Technology (KITECH) had signed MOU with Auburn University.

 

 

KITECH - Auburn University MOU signing ceremony took place in Auburn University on July 31st. President Jay Gogue had signed the memorandum with President Youngsoo Lee, to formalize the efforts of Auburn University's faculty and labs with KITECH, as well as Korean companies in Alabama supported by it.

 

The MOU is intended to provide a framework for collaboration among KITECH subject matter experts and Auburn faculty and researchers, facilitating partnerships between KITECH, Auburn University and automotive industry of Alabama.

 

Auburn University is a public university located in Auburn, Alabama with a total of over 25,000 students and 1,200 faculty members. It is among the few American universities designated as a land-grant, sea-grant and space-grant research center, which are national research consortia programs for universities.
