Within two days from March 3rd, 2011, KITECH Vietnam Technology Cooperation Office hosted Global Clean Production Technology Seminar at Intercontinental Hotel in Ho chi Minh, Vietnam. Vietnam industry generally faced severe environmental pollution due to drastic change in industrial development. Worse yet, Vietnam industrial has demanded a need of cleaning operations and technical guidances. In the line of the situation, the seminar targeted for Korean SMEs enterprises in Vietnam to diagnose environmental problems and find ways for improvement in their surroundings.

On the first day, Mr. Manchul Han, director in KITECH VIetnam Technology Cooperation Office, began the opening ceremony of the seminar with introduction of business management in response to environmental regulations to promote understanding of environmental management, clean product, waste management, and energy management. On the second day, technical experts visited actual work place to consult difficulties of environmental management and complaints.

Through out the environmental management, Industries itself increases efficiency in strengthening its position and wastewater processed. As a result of that, the companies were able to expect price competitiveness and reduce production cost. These environmental improvements will be preserved as benchmark data for domestic companies.
