KITECH - University of Michigan MOU signing ceremony was held in University of Michigan in Ann Arbor on 3rd of August 2015. Interim Vice President for Research S. Jack Hu had signed the memorandum with President Youngsoo Lee. 

The MOU set out two institutes' mutual understanding relating to collaboration and cooperation in facilitation of research, development and innovation opportunities. The specific technology fields of cooperation were stated as mechanical engineering and industrial / operations engineering.

University of Michigan is a public research university located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, with a total of 43,000 students. With its active, high research activity and comprehensive programs, It is considered one of the foremost research universities in the United States.
