Dongnam Technology Application Division

KITECH operates a research institute for each of its three key research areas in the South Korean cities Incheon, Ansan and Cheonan. In order to provide close-range support to SMEs located near their production sites, KITECH also operates regional divisions in Gwangju, Daegu, Busan, Gangneung, Ulsan, Jeonju and Jeju.

Serving as the backbone for parts and materials technologies for the machinery, automotive, shipbuilding and marine industries, Dongnam Technology Application Division (Extreme Energy System) is committed to developing technologies needed in the energy parts materials industry and the marine and transportation machinery parts industry. It is also committed to providing close-range support to SMEs in the Dongnam region, which includes Busan and Gyeongnam. The division also seeks to integrate eco-friendly clean 3R (reuse, reduce and recycle) technologies and climate change-related technologies into production sites in Ulsan, Korea.
